Cruellement frappée par le terrorisme, la France est entrée en guerre. Son ennemi : le salafisme totalitaire, incarné par l’État islamique, qui campe sur cinq continents. Nous avons pris désormais la tragique mesure de cette guerre d’un nouveau type qu’il nous faut livrer au plus loin, en Mésopotamie et au Sahel, et au plus près, au sein de nos villes. Notre pays n’est pas le seul à monter au front, mais il est une cible de choix, non par ce qu’il fait, mais par ce qu’il est.
Ce conflit nous invite à une mobilisation citoyenne puissante. Une mutation d’autant plus indispensable que l’esprit guerrier envahit la planète, aussi bien sur le terrain que sur la Toile : des familles partent faire le djihad ; des bandes armées bâtissent au nom d’Allah un proto-État criminel en Mésopotamie ; les Russes se taillent un État-croupion en Ukraine ; Pékin pousse ses pions navals en mer de Chine tandis que la Turquie rêve de restauration ottomane. Tout cela sous le regard de l’Iran et de l’Arabie saoudite qui se vouent une haine inextinguible et se font la guerre au Yémen.
Face à des conflits très difficiles à déchiffrer et à leurs conséquences directes sur notre vie quotidienne, Pierre Servent nous livre des clés indispensables pour affronter un avenir incertain.
